- Samantha Banfield25.07.2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★We came to Jules after a morning exploring WWII Rathmines history. Feeling cold & hungry I was after a meal that would warm me up & fill my belly. I chose the lamb shanks with mash & veggies. I didn't know what to expect from this unassuming cafe. It was delicious! My meal was served piping hot & with a generous serving. The veggies were vibrant and full of flavour. The corn was sweet & juicy, the yummy mash was creamy, the lamb just fell off the bone, broccoli & cauliflower just perfect & the gravy complimented the dish nicely.
By the way, the cafe has clean decorated toilets that smell really nice, soft toilet paper & wonderful hand soap.
I recommend Jules by the Lake to everyone. You have to eat here people!!! I'll be back for sure if I'm in the area.
